Ethekwini Talent Agency is a dynamic creatives film industry enabler that connects Artists with world class fictional and non-fictional content creators as well as equips individuals with filmmaking tools and resources to ensure fair participation in the complex world of film and television. Founded by Sandile Sangweni in 2021 who has more than fifteen years of experience in the film industry, ETA has four hundred and eighty members on its database, thirty five are crew members whereas four hundred and fourty five are Actors and Actresses.

Bomb Shelter
Bomb productions was founded by Angus Gibson, creator of Yizo Yizo, Isithembiso, Producer of iSibaya as well as the recent Shaka Ilembe. We were fortunate to provide season one of the series with one hundred background actors and actresses at Nkandla, Mzamba valley and Nash’s farm in Johannesburg.
Parental advisory productions
The makers of feature films Kedibone, Abafana ababi, For Piet’s sake and the recent For Piet’s sake 2, Thomas and Lunga Gumede trusted Ethekwini Talent Agency to facilitate the background and Bit role casting of the recent For Piet’s sake 2 which was filmed in KZN. Eighteen of our members were cast as featured actors and actresses including one supporting character, Azania who enjoyed an on screen debute amongst the leads. 1923 The makers of Yellow stone appointed Ethekwini Talent agency to facilitate the casting coordination of the period piece
1923,
an International series Directed by Benjamin Richardson and lead by Brandon Skelnar and Harrison Ford that was shot in Hluhluwe, Kursney hotel in Stanger, Durban Manor as well as the Nchanga train station. One hundred and ninety of our member were employed as background cast members, stunt men and body doubles for the entire four week duration of the KZN shoot. Six of our members were employed as crew on the massive international set.
